Trip to the park

Our new rountine is to walk over to the park in the mornings before it gets too hot. Collin does really good. It's a bit of a walk but he's a trooper. He loves the park. Nate is really enjoying it too. He can't go down the slide by himself but he loves to slide with me. We have also been able see some great wildlife at the park. Last week we found a Killdeer nest. They nest on the ground so we were able to go over and show Collin the 3 eggs. Monday, 3 little baby birds were running around. It has been great for Collin to see and you can see how cute they are below.

Nate got a haircut

We just couldn't wait any longer. His mullet was a bit more than I could take. Daddy cut his hair while he sat on my lap. He did pretty good for his first time. Isn't he cute!!!

Sleepover

Last week Bob was out of town so we had a sleepover. The kids did pretty good though they were up pretty early calling each others names.

Evan came over and spent the day with the boys. They had to get cleaned up after a full day outside.

Fun on the 4th

We spent the 4th at Brandon and Colleen's house. They got this slip n slide for the kids. They all loved it. They are a bunch of water babies!!! We tried really hard to get the kids to dive on the slide like we did when we were kids but the needed someone show them and for some reason we could not get Colleen to do it!! :)
