Getting dressed

Collin picked out these clothes and dressed himself today. Not too bad.
Nate likes to wear big boy underwear.I let Collin take the camera and he took the next two pictures all by himself. He figured it out really quickly.

Nate was after Grandpa's wine .
Well this has been Collin's spring break and we had a bunch of outings planned but unfortunately Collin has not been feeling well. He has had a low grade fever off and on since Tues so we have been stuck in the house and it's been sooooo nice outside this week. Nate is a little warm today too. Poor guys. We are all starting to get cabin fever but I hate to expose anyone to the bug. We will probably have a very low key weekend and hope that a few more days of rest will do the trick.

Boys will be boys!

Nate loves to wear shoes. Here he just put on Collin's boots and was marching around the playroom. He knows shoes mean you get to go outside.

It's almost time for steaks!

Bob has been working very hard on our grill and it is almost done. He just needs to get the tile put on and it will be complete. YAY!!!!

Well, let's see...what's going on with us these days?

Nate just turned 19 months. It's hard to believe. He is talking more and more. He can repeat just about everything we say. Collin is always trying to teach him new words too. Bob has been traveling A LOT lately so we have all been missing him. I have been trying to keep us busy with activities. It is a lot easier now that Nate is a little older so I am not as stressed going to parks and play centers with the two of them. Collin is still enjoying preschool. We just registered him for next year. He will be in the 2-day program again next year. Nate will be sad that he has to wait one more year but we are not ready for him to be that independent quite yet. Oh, speaking of growing up, Nate peed on the potty last week. He is really showing interest so we will see. I really am not ready to start potty training so we will follow his lead for now and see what happens. So with the time change I am hoping to get these boys to start sleeping a little later in the morning. They have always been early risers...which I am not! So we have moved bedtime back to 8:30 -9pm in hopes that they will rise closer to 8am. The past few days have been good. Let's hope it lasts. Getting up a 6am in just not right!

We have been trying to cut down our TV time but here the boys had a special treat and watched Sesame Street.

Nate is saying "Cheese!!"
We have had some great weather the past week. It is supposed to start getting colder tomorrow so we played outside again this evening. The boys are showing off Daddy's handy work here. Bob is really close to completing the outdoor bar/grill. We can't wait to cook some steaks!!
