Nate is 6 months

Well we had Nate's 6 month check up today. He is doing really well. He weighs 17lbs 8oz and is 28 in tall. He is a little taller and thinner than Collin was at 6 months. It's been fun to look back at Collin's baby book. Nate has been eating really well and starting to sleep through the night again. We are very excited about this!! He is just a good baby overall and love him to pieces. He is still teething. We cannot believe that none have broke through yet. I keep thinking any day.... He is close to sitting up by himself. He can for a few seconds but then falls over. As you can see he is trying to fly....maybe a future skydiver, but let's hope not! I just think this is the funniest picture.

An update on Collin....

Many of you know that he has been sick for the past week and we have been unsure of what was causing this. He is okay. The doctor's thought that he might have Kawasaki disease which is scary because that can lead to early heart disease. We had to take him to a specialist and have his heart checked with and echo (sonogram). They think he has Scarlet Fever but are still not 100%. Scarlet Fever is basically just Strep with a rash. His tests came back normal so we have him on some antibiotics and he will have to have his heart checked again in 6 weeks but we all (doctors and Bob and I) think he will be fine. The doctors are just being extra careful. Through all of this Collin has been great. He did so good at all of his doctor visits, even when he had his blood taken and during the echo. We are very thankful that is is okay.
