April update

I know it's been two weeks since I updated this and I am sorry about that. Things have been really busy. Last weekend was one of those non stop weekends. The boys are both doing great. Friday we had a play-date with Shelbi and we went to this little play-gym. Collin found the trampoline and that was where he was almost the entire time. Then on Saturday we had Evan's 2nd B-day party. It was at a bounce house. Collin was in heaven. Let's just say he has no fear. They had these big slides and he did not hesitate. When we got home that day he he woke up from his nap he said " bounce house, one more time mommy." Then Saturday night was supper club at our house for fondue. Jack and Jess came along and again Collin was having a ball. Nate just watches everything. He smiles at all the kids. He always has his eyes on Collin. He really loves his big brother.

Collin had his 6 week follow up with the specialist and they said his heart looks great and there is no reason for concern. We were very pleased to get this news. I mentioned a few weeks ago that potty training was going really well. I guess I got ahead of myself. It seems that Collin is not quite ready. Some days are better than others. Maybe it's just that we are not ready. We are trying not to push him. We know he will eventually get the hang of it when he is ready. Nate is officially on the move. He started crawling about 1 week ago. He has not mastered it yet but he can get from one end of the room to the other. So far he is staying out of trouble. We will see how long that lasts. Nate also really likes to pull himself up into a standing position. He can pull himself up in his crib and anytime we are on the floor with him that's what he wants help with. He is getting more teeth. His top two are coming in now. He is drooling like crazy but it has not made him overly fussy this time which is nice. The nights are going better too. Most nights Nate sleeps through. We are very happy about that. With Bob traveling so much it was really wearing me out. He will be 8 months on Tuesday. It is hard to believe. He is really becoming his own little person. He is a sweet little baby.
