We had a great 1st B-day party for Nate. You can see in the pictures he was more interested in the girls than his cake. Even with some encouragement we could not get him to eat any but he did end up with red frosting all over his face. I think everyone had a good time. The kids all played outside in the baby pool and slip n slide. All of Collin and Nate's friends were very helpful opening all of Nate's gifts.
We had Nate's one year check up today. He weighs 23.8 lbs and is 31.5 in tall. He did really good with his shots and is currently taking a long nap.....poor guy! I just can't believe he is a year. Here are a few of the fun things about Nate:
Moo like a cow when we ask what does a cow say
Trumpet like an elephant (and he moves his arm up while he does it...so cute)
Make a basket in the basketball hoop (the kid one in the playroom)
Hi Five
Chase his brother around the house
Point out the kitty in his animal book
He loves the sprinkler
His favorite food are strawberries
Runs to mommy to sit in my lap when I am on the floor (he saw Collin do this and now does it all the time, so sweet)
Wants to be outside all the time
Loves being licked by Bella
He is such a sweet little guy and just love him to pieces!!!
