Halloween

Halloween was a big day for the kids. We spent a few hours at the pumpkin patch with Shelbi and her family. The kids played in the bounce houses and went on a hay ride. They played in hay mazes and collected mini pumkins. They had a lot of fun. Then that night the boys dressed up for trick or treating. Collin was so excited to go get candy. At the 2nd or 3rd house we went to he held his bucket up and said "I need some candy" instead of "trick or treat." Fortunately the neighbors thought that was funny. Nate did really well. He actually would carry his bucket to the door and hold it out. By the 2nd street he was saying trick or treat, which is his longest phrase.....though we might be the only ones that understood what he was saying but it was so cute. It was a hot day in Texas so by the time we were done Collin was exhausted in his fleece monkey costume. All in all it was a great day.
